How to get to Fukue Island (Goto City)
Take a plane from Fukuoka Airport (around 40 minutes) or Nagasaki Airport (around 30 minutes), or a boat from Hakata Port (around 8 hours 30 minutes by ferry) or Nagasaki Port (shortest: Jetfoil, around 1 hour 25 minutes)
The number of trips and seats are limited in all cases, so make sure you secure a seat early.

How to get to Hisaka Island
A camellia island where many wild camellias grow, Hisaka Island boasts blooming camellia flowers from fall to winter.
Take the Kiguchi Cruising “Seagull” from Fukue Island (Fukue Port) to Hisaka Island (Tanoura Port) in around 20 minutes, or the Ferry Hisaka in around 34 minutes.

How to get to Naru Island
A small island full of highlights, located almost in the center of the Goto archipelago
From Fukue Island (Fukue Port) to Naru Island (Naru Port): around 30 minutes by high-speed Goto passenger ship, or around 45 minutes by ferry
From Fukuoka Prefecture (Hakata Port) to Naru Island (Naru Port): Around 7 hours 40 minutes by Nomoshosen’s Ferry TAIKO

How to get to Sagano Island
This island was created when two volcanos, Mt. Odake in the north and Mt. Medake in the south, were connected by a volcanic eruption, and is home to some uniquely shaped rocks.
“Senjojiki,” the rocky wave-cut platform formed through years of erosion by stormy seas, has become a place where you can feel the power and mystery of the natural world.
We recommend using a rental bicycle to get around the island.

How to get to Ohshima Island
This small island is the southernmost island of the Goto archipelago. It once flourished through whaling and bonito fishing, so there are still stone embankments and village walls built by previous island residents. It is now popular among anglers as a fishing spot for barred knifejaws.
Ohshima Shrine and Ohshima Enmeiin are located within walking distance of the port.

How to get to Nakadori Island
Nakadori Island (Shinkamigotocho) is known for the stone Kashiragashima Church, registered as World Cultural Heritage under “Hidden Christian Sites in the Nagasaki Region.”
Narao Port (Nakadori Island), the arrival point for ships, is connected to Wakamatsu Port (Wakamatsu Island) via a bridge.

Q: Can I take a car or motorbike on the boat?
A: These can be loaded on the ferry from Nagasaki. You can also rent a car or motorbike on the islands.
Q: How can I carry large pieces of luggage?
A: Check each shipping company’s website for the sizes of luggage that can be carried on the boats.
