Coral bead-making workshop (take away)

At the workshop for Nagasaki Prefecture's traditional craft “Goto Coral,” you will experience making a single coral bead (approximately 8mm) . You may take home the bead , finished as a strap, tie pin, or pendant.

*All materials and tools are provided, so you can enjoy the experience without bringing anything.
You can also tour the Coral Museum, which displays raw coral logs and numerous exquisite coral crafts featuring the beautiful “Goto-bori” carving technique, known for its delicate and deep engravings.
