Onidake Observatory opened with the desire to let visitors experience the beautiful cosmos, taking advantage of Goto's location with its exceptionally clear air. Enjoy the breathtaking night sky through one of largest telescopes in Kyushu, a 60cm aperture Newtonian reflector.

The facility also boasts a theater room featuring a 100-inch screen for constellation video presentations.
